WHY IS LACTOSE NOT GOOD FOR CATS?
Just like humans, some cats do not tolerate lactose. Lactose usually causes gastric problems.
What happens when cats drink milk? The main effects are diarrhea, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, gas, and abdominal swelling.
Also, some cats suffer from lactose allergy, which can cause itching, hives, trouble breathing, cough, diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach, and high blood pressure.
If you note some of these symptoms, take your cat to the vet immediately.
